Wood, a natural resource, rapidly dwindling stocks and deforestation mean that today there is high demand for recycled wood products. Our company was built upon this need and gradually grew to become one of the biggest wood processors in the North East, supplying wood chips and pre-shred to all of the main chipboard manufacturers in the UK. Recent changes in the UK power generation industry mean that now new markets have opened in this sector for the supply of recycled wood for the manufacture of wood pellets, a product now used as a replacement renewable energy source for coal in certain UK power stations.
3 Grades of wood are accepted at our sites.
GRADE A – Pallets, Wood Packaging eg. Crates, Cable drums
GRADE B – Mixed timber, off-cuts, demolition wood
GRADE C – MDF, Hardboard, Laminate flooring
Waste Wood can be delivered direct to our sites, we can supply bins/skips for hire so you can fill and exchange when required or our walking floor or curtain sided fleet can come to collect larger quantities.
Animal Bedding
A by-product of the wood recycling process, we supply wood dust to the farming industry for use as animal bedding. Ideal for bedding out cattle sheds during the winter months our wood dust is a fit for purpose, environmentally friendly and cheaper alternative to some of the other materials currently used on the market and has full approval for use by the Environment Agency. Many of our farming customers who have tried the product have never reverted back to their original animal bedding material.
Dust can be ordered and delivered straight to farm in any quantity required
