Recycled Hardcore

As part of our ongoing project to recycle 100% of the rubble we recieve into our Waste Transfer station, Albert Hill Skip Hire can offer recycled hardcore for building projects. Due to taxes imposed by the government on quarried products, companies are favouring materials recycled on site to save landfill costs and reduce the use of imported aggregates. Its an excellent alternative, both cheaper, and safer to the environment, than quarried products.

Top Soil (Screened)

Our screened topsoil is taken from greenfield sites, and carefully screened to remove any traces or rubble or clumps exisiting when it is excavated. We can promise you a fine texture that is both rice in nutrients and easy to work with. Screened topsoil is typically used for lawn and seeding. It is also an excellent all round use material. It can be used for gardens, grassy areas and flower beds, but it is not as rich as garden soil.

Top Soil (Unscreened)

Our unscreened topsoil is obtained from our usual greenfield sites, but has not been put through a screener, so you should expect to find stones and clumps within the soil - there may also be bits of debris such as brick that has been buried where the soil has come from. Because of this, it is great for filling in holes, or raising areas up, and any stones will only help improve drainage.

Compost

Ideal for all seed sowing, for both small home use, and large building projects. The compost has improved water and nutrient retention to give your seedlings the best start in life. It can be used as an upper layer to your topsoil, or mixed in to improve the overall quality of the soil. All the compost is from garden waste, which we recycle into an organic soil improving product that can be put back into the land.
